Events in Tacony
Car Show
The annual Tacony Car Show
will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2006. The event will
be held on Tyson Avenue at Torresdale Avenue. This popular
event will feature family activities, community exhibits,
entertainment, tours of old Tacony, chances, a DJ, and more!
This event is Sponsored by the Civic Association, the Tacony
Historical Society, the Tacony Business Association, and the
Northeast Muscle Car Club.
The event will run from 10am until
3pm.
Tacony History Day
The 2006 Tacony History Day will
take place in early September. Offical date will be posted
soon. Tacony Library Centenial 2006 marks the 100th anniversary
of the Tacony Library. Serveral events are in the planning
stages to celebrate the Library's
birthday. As these events are scheduled, we will post the
information.
